Industrial Uses

The purpose of this zone is to provide for industrial and transshipment uses, economic development uses, and uses with special utility and transportation access requirements while minimizing negative impacts on adjoining zones and the natural environment.

Quil Ceda Village is intended to attract a range of business and light industrial users. It will be developed in phases reflecting a market driven range of parcel sizes. Some areas may offer building lots under two acres in size. Other parts of the Park will be available as larger parcels. The market study for a bulk- of the market need in the range of 2.5 to 10 acres. The Tulalip Tribes offer one of the very few opportunities in the Puget Sound corridor for large industrial users, those needing, parcels larger that ten acres. Large land users such as industrial and corporate campus type users and destination type retail can be accommodated because of the large size of parcels available at the Tulalip economic development. Large unencumbered parcels are rare in the Puget Sound Region so large land users such as these may be particularly attracted to the Park.
